Kames Capital in more award success
Kames Capital is celebrating further award success after the Kames Ethical Cautious Managed Fund won its category at the third annual Investment Adviser 100 Club Awards.*
The multi-award winning Kames Ethical Cautious Managed Fund scooped the top prize in the Mixed Asset category for the second consecutive year. This latest accolade follows its success at the Investment Week Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2014 where it also repeated its success of the previous year, by winning the best fund award in the cautious managed category, and at the Money Observer Fund Awards 2013 where it won the best fund in the Socially Responsible Mixed Asset category.**
The Kames Ethical Cautious Managed Fund, managed by Audrey Ryan and Iain Buckle, is currently ranked first quartile over one, three and five years and since its launch in March 2007***.
The Investment Adviser 100 Club aims to recognise the breadth of excellence on offer in the UK retail fund management industry. The awards select the top 100 funds within 20 equal sized categories then select the winners in each.
This latest accolade for Kames Capital follows a number of other notable and prestigious successes in the last two years for the business and its fund management capabilities. These include; Property Manager of the Year at the 2014 UK Pensions Awards, Social Responsible Manager of the Year at the 2014 Pension and Investment Provider Awards, Global Fixed Income Manager of the Year at the 2013 Pension and Investment awards, Fixed Income Manager of the year at the Professional Pensions UK Pensions Awards 2013, the best group award in the Small Bond Category at the Lipper UK Awards 2013.**
Kames Capital chief investment officer Stephen Jones says: ‘To once again win such an award further underlines the excellent and consistent performance this fund has achieved since its launch in 2007. The fact it is consistently beating mainstream funds, whilst constrained by its ethical criteria which excludes it from investing in much of the wider investible universe, is an even greater testament to Audrey and Iain for continuing to deliver excellent performance.’
