Kames Capital appoints equity product specialist

Kames Capital has appointed Luc Simoncini as a product specialist to work with its equity teams.
Simoncini will work closely with the equity fund managers at Kames, and with its client teams, as the business looks to continue broadening its equity capabilities across the UK and Continental Europe.
In the new role Simoncini, who joins from Dublin-based Mediolanum International Funds where he led its marketing efforts, will put to use his extensive experience and knowledge of investment markets and equities in particular. He has also held positions at Schroders and Pioneer Investments during his 15-year career.
Simoncini will report to Stephen Adams, head of UK equities at Kames Capital and work across the group’s range of equity funds.
