Openwork appoints MetLife’s Ewens as Distribution Director

Openwork is pleased to announce the appointment of Dave Ewens to the role of Distribution Director, as the network seeks to move to the next phase of its development following two consecutive years of profitability.
 
Ewens joins Openwork from Metlife where he spent eight years, latterly as National Sales Director. Prior to joining Metlife in 2007, he spent 24 years at Norwich Union where he was recognised as its top sales consultant for a period of 10 years.
 
In his new role Ewens will head up Openwork’s Business Development and Telephone Sales teams, and assume day-to-day responsibility for running recruitment and the network’s referral company Openwork Market Solutions. He will also act as Openwork’s principle liaison with its IFA business 2plan and assume control of the Openwork Protection Service, which is a major focus for 2015 as the network seeks to narrow the protection gap.
