Sanity is: a good mix of Friday links

It was William Cowper (Google tells us) who said “Variety is the spice of life That gives it all its flavour”. Apparently he also penned “Absence of occupation is not rest; a mind quite vacant is a mind distressed”. Yikes! There’s only one thing for it then, feast on these varied and flavoursome links and stave off mental distress; you owe it to yourself and your sanity…

It’s none other than fonts that match the dog – now MRM would hate to be accused of being a pedant (again…) but are the dogs for Verdana AND Bodoni not both English bull terriers? And what have they got against Labs, Lurchers and Jack Russells, the perfectly proportioned mutts that make up the MRM dog family, eh?
