Openwork bolsters recruitment team with appointment of Sarah Rodway
Openwork has moved to further strengthen its recruitment team with the appointment of Sarah Rodway as Regional Recruitment Manager.
Previously Sales & Development Manager at Tavistock Financial, Sarah – who offers a wealth of experience in recruitment, business development and marketing – will focus on bringing new appointed representatives (ARs) and advisers to Openwork.
She will report to Stephen Wildgoose, Openwork’s Recruitment and Growth Director, who joined the network in July after more than 11 years at Sesame Bankhall Group.
Openwork, which now has over 3,100 advisers across the group, has welcomed more than 360 new advisers into the network so far in 2016. Growth has been driven by a combination of new advisory businesses such as Just Mortgages, the financial advisory business of Spicerhaart, and existing firms expanding their adviser numbers.
The network, which has also added five lenders to its panel this year including Tesco Bank and HSBC, announced last month it delivered more than £8bn in mortgage completions up to the end of Q3 2016.
Stephen Wildgoose says: “Openwork has a clear strategy for AR and adviser recruitment over the coming years. We are growing adviser numbers every month and receiving increased levels of enquiries from industry professionals seeking to join a successful and profitable network. Sarah’s strong experience in financial services recruitment will add great value to our expanding recruitment operation.”
Sarah says: “I am excited to be joining Openwork. A network with a member retention rate of circa 98% is one that offers clear value in its proposition as well as an appetite for growth and development. Openwork’s unique ownership structure, along with the strong support and well-defined direction provided by its senior management team, made the role highly attractive. I am very much looking forward to being part of the organisation as it continues to grow in an otherwise challenged market.”
