Salvus Master Trust appoints Bill Finch from B&CE
The Salvus Master Trust (Salvus) has today announced it has appointed Bill Finch as its new Head of Sales.
Finch joins from B&CE, provider of The People’s Pension, and brings over 30 years of industry experience. Prior to this he held roles at Aegon Scottish Equitable and Friend’s Provident. At B&CE he was responsible for managing the firm’s relationships with payroll software and service providers and has extensive experience in working with different intermediaries on implementation and member education.
At Salvus he will be responsible for developing the introducer channels and project managing the Salvus authorisation team.
Steve Goddard, Founder of the Salvus Master Trust said: “This is an exciting time for Salvus and we’re delighted to have someone of Bill’s experience on board. The use of master trusts continues to gain in popularity and Bill brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise that will help us as we look to grow our proposition and support more employers and individual members.”
Bill Finch said: “I have been hugely impressed by Salvus’ robust online systems and the team’s commitment to using technology to modernise workplace pension communication and payroll services. This is a revolutionary time for the master trust market and Salvus has already shown its commitment to the space with the consolidation of the Complete Pension Trust earlier this year. As the authorisation process gets into full swing we expect to see more consolidation take place and I believe that Salvus’ infrastructure and offering makes it very well positioned to support this.”
Salvus consolidated the Complete Pension Trust in May this year in one of the first deals to have taken place since new authorisation requirements in the master trust market were announced. Salvus now looks after over £150m in assets for its 60,000 members.
