Ignis Investment Journalism Awards 2010
Ignis has announced the winners of the 2010 Ignis Investment Journalism Awards – held last night in the famous pavilion at Lord’s Cricket Ground.
The awards recognise excellence in investment journalism and were voted for by an independent panel of leading intermediaries. Each of the winners received a cheque for £1,000 and the team of the year received the prestigious team trophy. This year’s winners, as voted for by the panel, were as follows:
Trade journalist of the year – Hysni Kaso, Investment Week
Consumer journalist of the year – Matthew Vincent, Financial Times
Institutional journalist of the year – Phil Craig, Financial News
Journalist’s journalist of the year – Patrick Collinson, Guardian
Team of the year – Citywire
All of the winners have played a strong role in keeping investment top of the agenda with intermediaries and the general public in what has been a strong, if volatile, investment environment.
Ignis would like to congratulate this year’s winners and thank everyone for attending what was a very special evening.
