Moneywise’s Greaves to join MRM
MRM, the award-winning financial services communications consultancy, has hired Moneywise’s Edmund Greaves as a Consultant.
Joining MRM’s news and content team, Greaves will help drive production of high-quality multi-media content for clients and play an integral role in the continued expansion of MRM’s consumer proposition.
He will work across a range of MRM’s existing clients, which include Shawbrook Bank, Scottish Friendly, Nucleus, Willis Owen, Legg Mason, AXA Investment Managers, Man GLG and eToro.
Greaves, who has been at Moneywise since the beginning of 2017, started as a reporter before being promoted to Deputy Editor in 2018. His wide-ranging role has seen him cover the full spectrum of financial services, from investing, pensions and savings to day-to-day finances.
He has also overseen a number of successful Moneywise research and awards programmes. Carried out annually, these include the Moneywise Customer Service Awards and the Moneywise Home Finances Awards.
Greaves has over eight years’ experience in journalism in total, starting as a political writer and editor in the European Parliament in Brussels in 2012, then spending several years freelancing around the globe before moving into financial journalism in London in 2016.
MRM has a dedicated news and content team which also includes Paul Thomas, Senior Consultant at MRM who joined in 2018 from the Daily Mail. The team works with a network of contacts across the industry to produce all types of content for clients, from white papers and reports, to videos and vox pops.
Commenting on his appointment, Nick Paler, Associate Director and Head of News and Content at MRM, said: “We are delighted to welcome someone of Edmund’s calibre to MRM. His wide-ranging background in journalism and his expertise in consumer and investment finance are well-known across the industry, and he will be a major asset to the growing news and content team at MRM.”
