Helena Jones to lead MRM’s institutional offering
MRM, the communications and reputation management consultancy specialising in financial services, has promoted Helena Jones to Head of Institutional.
She will take responsibility for further developing and growing MRM’s proposition in the institutional space, encompassing asset managers, investment consultants, pension trustees, scheme service providers and re/insurers.
Helena joined as a consultant in 2019 working predominantly across MRM’s clients in the pensions, investment and insurance sector, before being promoted to senior consultant in 2020. Prior to MRM, she worked at a specialist pensions PR & marketing firm.
Alongside her role at MRM, Helena sits on pensions industry body NextGen’s media & communications sub-committee and writes about pensions for personal finance blogzine, Mouthy Money.
Andrew Appleyard, CEO of MRM Group, said: “Helena is a top talent who has had an extremely positive impact on the business, clients and colleagues since joining four years ago. Her deep institutional knowledge and passion for effective and efficient storytelling make her the perfect person to take on this important role.”
Helena added: “Since joining the team I’ve worked with some of the most dynamic and influential businesses across the sector. More than ever, regulatory changes and systemic issues like climate change are putting the power and influence of institutional investors into firm focus. I couldn’t be more excited to take on this role and shape the future of the sector by helping both up-and-coming and established businesses to have their voices heard and effect positive change.”
