Barclays Wealth re-launches Super Tracker offering a potential 64% return
- Investment backed by Barclays Bank PLC
- Two investment term options of three or five years
- A potential return of 64% for the five-year option
- Capital will be lost if the Index falls by 50% and is below the initial level at maturity
Barclays Wealth has re-launched its Super Tracker for investors seeking attractive returns in a low growth environment.
Available now, the Super Tracker offers two options for investors. The five-year option offers investors four times any rise in the FTSE 100 up to a maximum of 64%. The three-year option offers four times any rise in the Index up to a maximum of 32%.
In both cases, investor’s capital is at risk if the Index falls below 50% of its starting level during the term and is below the starting level at maturity. If this occurs, capital is lost on a 1:1 basis. In both cases, the downside risk is not observed during the last month of the term.

Lisa Chaudhuri, vice president, Barclays Wealth, says: “General consensus appears to be that the developed markets will see moderate growth over the medium-term and therefore products that offer attractive returns in lower growth markets continue to be in high demand. Super Tracker is ideal for this as it offers returns for small rises in the FTSE while giving investors a choice of investment terms.”
