Ignis appoints Mark Lovett as Chief Investment Officer – Equities
Ignis Asset Management is pleased to announce the recruitment of Mark Lovett as Chief Investment Officer (CIO) – Equities. Mark will join Ignis on Monday 4 October and will be responsible for overseeing more than £10 billion of institutional and retail equity assets across Ignis’ proprietary fund range.
Mark is a very experienced investor who has worked for a number of leading asset management firms. Most recently he was CIO UK and European Equities in London for Allianz RCM. Mark was also Chairman of the Allianz RCM Asset Allocation Committee in London and a Board member of the London Executive Committee. In addition, Mark was also a member of Allianz RCM’s seven-strong European Management Group responsible for the management of all aspects of the investment platform across both London and Frankfurt. He has extensive knowledge of the third party investment market and is well regarded by investment consultants.
Mark will report directly to Ignis’ CIO, Chris Fellingham, who recently joined Ignis Asset Management from Soros Fund Management.
