Asia Pacific Ex Japan hold favour with wealth managers
Asia Pacific Ex Japan maintained favour with wealth managers and execution only clients in October, according to the latest sales breakdown from Cofunds’ institutional service.
The sector ranked second highest selling for wealth managers and third highest selling for execution only clients last month.
Global sectors remained a popular choice for wealth managers and execution only clients with global emerging markets, global bonds and global growth placed in the top ten selling sectors for these client groups.
Product providers (accounting for the underlying collectives within their pension, bond and SIPP wrappers) continued to favour Corporate Bonds in October. M&G Strategic Corporate Bond and M&G High Yield Corporate Bond lead the way as first and fourth highest selling funds.
Christopher James, Director, Institutional Services at Cofunds said: “October saw the global trend continue with Asia Pacific Ex Japan, Global Growth, Global Bonds and Emerging Market funds performing well with our wealth manager and execution only clients. First State Indian Subcontinent and Aberdeen Emerging Markets funds continued to hold their positions as the top two selling fund with our execution only clients.”
