Cofunds & FundsNetwork collection points help advisers with tax year end
Cofunds and Fidelity FundsNetwork™ are joining forces to offer last-minute collection points for advisers across the UK to submit ISA applications.
The initiative will see 13 national collection points set up around the UK where advisers can drop off applications up to 6pm on 5 April. Applications can also be submitted at Fidelity’s offices in Kent, Manchester, London and Surrey and Cofunds’ offices in London and Chelmsford. Applications will be quality checked on site.
Commenting on this cross-platform collaboration, Alastair Conway, Sales and Marketing Director at Cofunds said; “It’s all about choice. We’re seeing the number of online applications increase at a great pace, but some advisers still prefer to physically hand in applications. The collection points offer advisers an additional way to submit applications, which can be critical for those who would otherwise miss the post.
“With last year bringing record ISA sales, this year we’ve again teamed up with FundsNetwork to provide practical solutions that make the process of getting clients’ ISA applications to us as easy as possible at this very busy time.”
Julian Webb, Head of Platform Sales and DC Business, Fidelity International commented: “Early indications from our sales so far this year and speaking with advisers shows that the industry should look forward to a buoyant ISA season, particularly with the backdrop of increasingly strong investor confidence and our improving domestic economic situation.
“Most significantly this year, the ISA is more valuable to the investor than ever before – taxes are higher and rising – VAT being the latest increase – and we encourage advisers to ensure that their clients’ make the most of their tax breaks and don’t give their ISA allowance away to the tax man.
“The provision of these collection points for the fourth year running by Fidelity FundsNetwork and Cofunds is intended to ensure that advisers have the means to get their clients applications in on time no matter whether they prefer to do it online, or by post.”
