How to excel in a social media crisis (MRM's Marketing Minute #5)
A lot of businesses – even the big famous ones – don’t realise they need an internet crisis management plan until after their first social media storm strikes.
If your company is Tweeting, Facebooking or, uhmm, LinkedIn-ing, you can do yourself a big favour (and give yourself a better chance of sleeping at night) by putting the eight simple steps in this video into your plan.
This is a truism: every organisation communicating with any success on the social web will be attacked at some stage. This can range from mild mutterings of criticism by a handful of naysayers to a full-blown mud-hurling fest that can damage your brand.

NB: I refer to this as ‘episode four’ early in the film – who spotted the deliberate mistake?
