Well, we can’t deny food figures heavily and that on occasion it involves creating an MRM-shaped indentation in the sofa, a bag of Haribo and an HBO box set. Oh yes. Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, The Sopranos and The Wire all feature heavily in this little gang’s list of TV programmes to be watched back to back.

So strong is the draw of HBO’s programming magic that we’ll even resort to playing a sociopolitical themed board game like this one just to get Way Down in the Hole one more time. Eat your heart out, Barksdale, the Stoop is ours!

From the crack dens of Baltimore then to the frankly bonkers, ostentatious excesses of people who most definitely fall into the category of having more money than sense and therefore deserving of being parted from a substantial wedge through a pointless purchase – who’s for a slice of $130,000 platinum cake? No, what about a spoonful of the golden opulence sundae, a snip at $1000?
