Morrow’s eVestor to acquire Postcard Planning Limited
Online investment advice business, eVestor, has announced it is to acquire Postcard Planning Limited as part of its plan to provide high-quality professional advice as an integral part of its service.
The deal, which is subject to FCA approval, will see Postcard Planning Founder and Chartered Financial Planner, Rohan Sivajoti, become Advisory Services Director at eVestor with responsibility for the creation and delivery of the company’s advice proposition. He will sit on the eVestor Board with Co-founders Anthony Morrow and Duncan Cameron.
While Postcard Planning’s clients won’t automatically be moved onto the eVestor platform, it is hoped that a combination of a market-leading digital proposition and low-cost solution will be attractive to them and fit with their objectives.
Anthony Morrow, Chief Executive and Founder of eVestor, commented:
“How people consume and benefit from advice is going to change fundamentally over the next five years with market-leading technology and modern forms of communication playing an increasingly vital role. To ensure eVestor’s proposition starts as market-leading, and importantly stays that way, it was essential we hired a progressive individual with the necessary combination of vision and energy to lead its development. In Rohan we have found just such a person.”
Rohan Sivajoti, Founder of Postcard Planning said:
“The future of the UK advice market lies in the ability to combine market-leading technology, modern forms of communication and accessible human input within a competitively priced proposition and this is exactly what Anthony is aiming to do with eVestor.
“Joining the team at this early stage not only means I can influence the development of a new and hugely exciting venture, but also get to work with a highly experienced and successful team of entrepreneurs with a clear and compelling vision for the future and the necessary funding to make it happen. The deal represents a great opportunity for me and the team but also all of the Postcard Planning clients.”
