Time to get those aviators on and find that inner alter ego with MRM’s Friday links

It’s done, it’s all over…and it looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship. We’re all coalition-ed up and it’s all champagne and roses in the Downing Street garden with our triumphant duo of Mr Cs.

While talk of tax, the deficit and ‘who’s who’ in the new Cabinet dominate our headlines the mood at MRM has turned sentimental with a reflection on times past, turning our attention to another of the country’s favourite duos. (Please note, ahem, that any resemblance to real persons is purely coincidental.)

 Our sentiment reached such proportions it couldn’t bypass a one-day homage to our favourite iconic Eighties stalwart – the one and only Top Gun,  from which we’d strongly encourage you to find your very own call sign (humorous results guaranteed – trust us).

However when it comes to creative use of names, MRM was mightily impressed by the efforts of one Alec Brownstein, who bagged his dream job by tapping into the egotistic phenomenon that is self-Googling.

On a parting (and somewhat different) note, if you fancy yourself as a bit of a pensions expert, don’t be shy – you could be part of the biggest Wiki-Pensions drive, well, ever!
