Barclays Wealth reissues Regular Income Bond
• Six-year investment issued by Barclays Bank PLC
• Regular income of 6.3% a year or 0.5125% a month
• Capital is at risk if the FTSE falls by more than 50%
Barclays Wealth has reissued its popular six-year Regular Income Bond for investors looking for a fixed, dependable income.
Available now, this FTSE-linked product offers investors the option of either a fixed annual payment or monthly income. The annual option pays 6.3% for each year the plan is held, while the monthly option gives investors 0.5125% each month.
In both options, investors’ capital is lost if at any time during the term the FTSE falls to a level more than 50% below its starting level and, at maturity, is below its starting level. If this does occur, capital will be lost on a 1:1 basis.

Commenting, Lisa Chaudhuri, vice president, Barclays Wealth, says: “For investors looking for an attractive regular income, the options available to them remain limited. With an annual rate of 6.3% or monthly income of 0.5125% the latest issue of our Regular Income Bond is designed to fill the gap left by the more ‘traditional’ solutions giving investors an attractive regular income with an element of protection.”
