FORMER NATIONWIDE DIGITAL HEAD REJOINS FS CONSULTANCY MRM
The former Head of Social Media and Digital Communications at Nationwide Building Society, Paul Beadle, has returned to financial services communications consultancy MRM.
Beadle first joined MRM in 2017 to head up its digital and social media offering before moving back in-house to manage social media for insurer NFU Mutual.
Beadle rejoins MRM as an Associate Director in the Corporate and Consumer Finance team. He will also assume responsibility for social media and digital communications, providing strategic planning, campaign delivery and issues management counsel.
Commenting on his return to agency side, Beadle said: “It’s great to be back at MRM. I love the pace, the range of clients the agency has and the variety of comms challenges and opportunities you see on a daily basis.
“Social and digital are constantly evolving, but I still think that the financial services industry lags behind other sectors in making the most of the media and responding to the issues that occur. I’m looking forward to working with great clients to deliver brilliant work.”
Andrew Appleyard, MRM Group CEO, added: “The team and I are over the moon that Paul has returned to the MRM fold. His knowledge and understanding of social and digital media combined with his experience of working with big brands such as Nationwide and NFU Mutual gives him a unique set of skills that’s great to have back at MRM.”
It’s been a busy 12 months for MRM, which has also seen the acquisition of paid media specialist Capital City Media (CCM), a tie-up with content marketing agency Foco and the appointment of industry veteran Nick Boakes as Chair of MRM Group.
