HANetf is pleased to announce the appointment of two new sales and marketing professionals, adding to the expert distribution capabilities of Europe’s first independent white-label ETF platform.
Andre Voinea has been appointed as Director, German and DACH Regions. Andre brings more than 10 years of experience selling ETFs and index products, joining HANetf from FTSE Russell. Previously, Andre held senior sales roles at companies including ETF Securities and Nomura and has acted as an advisor to fintech and crypto currency start-ups. Andre will report to HANetf co-CEO, Hector McNeil, and will be responsible for promoting HANetf funds to professional investors in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Amy Simmons has been appointed as Digital Marketing Manager, adding more than 3 years of marketing experience gained at BMO Global Asset Management and Natixis Investment Managers. Reporting to Simon Mott, Director of Marketing, Amy will oversee HANetf’s digital marketing and content distribution capabilities.
Hector McNeil, co-founder and co-CEO of HANetf, said: “Over the course of 2018, HANetf has changed the European ETF landscape, successfully launching our white-label platform and bringing our first ETFs to European investors. Andre and Amy add further ETF expertise to our team and will be instrumental in supporting our mission to bring innovative, modern strategies to European investors.
“Germany, Austria and Switzerland are some of the most important and sophisticated ETF markets in Europe and have strong institutional and retail participation. Andre has outstanding knowledge of the needs of ETF investors in these countries and his expertise will help propel the growth of HANetf products in those regions. Amy’s background in ETFs, combined with her knowledge of modern digital marketing approaches will be of significant value to HANetf and our clients as we continue to grow.”
HANetf’s first three ETFs were listed on XETRA, Borsa Italian and London Stock Exchange in October, 2018. These ETFs were listed for two third party asset managers. HANetf has multiple ETFs for different asset managers in the pipeline due to be listed first quarter and later in 2019. The company is currently talking to over 200 European, Asian and North American asset managers about establishing their first European UCITS ETFs.
