Ignis appoints Laura Brown as Chief Strategy Officer
Ignis Asset Management has appointed Laura Brown as Chief Strategy Officer. Laura joined Ignis on 1 November and will be responsible for overseeing the company’s planning processes and key projects.
Laura joins from McKinsey & Company, where she was a management consultant working with leading asset managers and other financial services groups. She previously worked for Watson Wyatt as an actuary and pension fund consultant.
Laura will lead a team as part of her new role and will report to Tim Roberts, Ignis’ Chief Operating Officer.
The appointment follows a number of other key hires in 2010, including; Chris Fellingham, who joined from George Soros’ London based asset management business as Chief Investment Officer and Mark Lovett who joined from Allianz RCM as Chief Investment Officer – Equities.
