Kames Capital completes move to London’s newest iconic building
Kames Capital has completed the move of its London office to The Leadenhall Building, otherwise known as the ‘Cheesegrater.’
Kames has taken 13,286 sq ft of space on the 26th floor of what is London’s latest iconic skyscraper, which is officially 122 Leadenhall Street in the City of London.
The move marks a significant statement in the development of the Edinburgh based group, as it continues expand its business both in the UK and across Continental Europe. It now operates in 13 different territories across Europe including the UK.
The new office will be home to over 40 Kames employees from its distribution and property investment management teams.
Kames chief executive Martin Davis says: ‘As a business we have grown significantly over the past few years from our Edinburgh base to a position where we are now active in most of Western Europe.
‘The new office, in one of the City of London’s newest and most iconic landmarks represents a statement of intent on our behalf, as we look to continue to build our business in the UK and across Europe. Edinburgh will remain our headquarters, but London provides our property investment team with access to the best industry contacts and gives our distribution team a fantastic hub to develop our business in Europe.’
