Kames strengthens its High Yield Team with further recruit

Kames Capital has further strengthened its multi-award winning high yield bond team with the recruitment of Jack Holmes as investment manager.
His appointment follows that of David Ennett who recently joined Kames as Head of High Yield and the return of Phil Milburn to the business.
Reporting to Ennett, Holmes joins Kames from Standard Life Investments where he was an analyst on its European high yield team covering a variety of sectors including general industrials, waste and recycling and oil & gas services.
Kames Capital’s head of fixed income David Roberts says: “The appointment of Jack to our team further strengthens our high yield capabilities and, coupled with the recent return of Phil and the appointment of David, I would say that Kames now has one of the most experienced and recognised high yield franchises across the UK and Europe.”
The multi-award winning Kames High Yield Bond Fund has won the Portfolio Adviser Platinum Award for four consecutive years in the High Yield Bond category while the Kames High Yield Global Fund has won Lipper Fund Awards across a range of European countries this year, including the UK, Switzerland and the Netherlands as well as the regional award for Europe in the High Yield Bond category over five years.
