MRM promotes Briffitt to Senior Consultant
MRM, the multi-disciplined financial services specialist consultancy, has promoted Tom Briffitt to the role of Senior Consultant as it continues to grow and develop its consumer finance division.
Briffitt has eight years’ agency experience working with a range of brands in and around financial services, including the RAC, Bacs, Bibby Financial Services and the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA).
Since joining MRM in February 2016, Briffitt has led the consumer finance team’s media relations activity for clients such as Hometrack (part of ZPG), Scottish Friendly and John Lewis Finance. MRM’s consumer division also recently announced that it had been appointed by Shawbrook Bank.
Working closely alongside Chris Tuite, the agency’s newly promoted Director and Head of Consumer Finance, Tom will now take a more active role managing clients’ campaign strategies and promoting MRM’s credentials among new business prospects.
Tom Briffitt, Senior Consultant at MRM says: “There is a brilliant team in place at MRM and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the consumer finance division over the last couple of years. Personal finance drives so much of the news agenda these days and attracts mass media attention. To be able to work with clients that are helping to set the agenda and generate greater consumer consideration when it comes to money matters is exactly what I want to be doing. My ambition is to build on this and help elevate MRM’s reputation for delivering the best financial services campaigns around.”
Chris Tuite, MRM Director and Head of Consumer Finance, says: “Since joining the agency Tom has consistently delivered excellent work for clients while making invaluable contributions on the new business front. He has a great rapport with journalists and has established himself as one of the agency’s leading media relations experts. His promotion is testament to that and recognition of the pivotal role he will play in further improving our consumer finance offering.”
