Novia creates Group role for Bristow
Novia Financial, the adviser-focused platform business, has appointed Lucy Bristow to the newly created role of Strategic Partnerships Director for the Group with immediate effect.
The appointment sees Bristow move from the Novia-owned Wealthtime platform where she has held a number of senior roles since joining the business from Embark in 2018. The new position, which has been created by incoming Chief Commercial Officer Barry Neilson*, will see Bristow take on responsibility for senior relationships with strategic adviser partnerships across the Group. She will report directly to Neilson.
The creation of the new role is an important part of Novia’s ongoing restructuring and integration work which has already seen the creation of a new leadership team.
Commenting on the appointment, Barry Neilson, Chief Commercial Officer said: “I am absolutely thrilled Lucy has agreed to take on this new Group role. With over 20 years of platform experience in a number of senior operational and commercial roles, she is the ideal candidate for such an important position within the Group and I am very much looking forward to working closely with her.”
“The platform requirements of larger advice groups and other financial services providers are changing quickly and we believe, with the high level of control over our technology and our track record in delivering great service, we are well placed to explore opportunities in this area.”
Commenting on her new role, Lucy said: “It is a hugely exciting time for the platform industry and there is a tremendous opportunity for Novia to become the leading adviser-focused proposition on the market. This position will allow me to use the knowledge and experience I have accumulated over the last 20 years to play my part in making that happen. I am delighted to be taking on the role and looking forward to working closely with adviser firms to design and deliver platform solutions that meets both their business needs and the needs of their clients.”
