RADAR now available on Nucleus
Barclays Capital Fund Solutions (BCFS) has announced that its Research Analysis Driven Absolute Return (RADAR) strategy is now available on Nucleus.
The addition of RADAR, a long short macro tactical asset allocation strategy, to the Nucleus wrap is part of an ongoing initiative to open up this fund to a wider market.
RADAR, which was designed to exceed global equity returns in a bull market and also outperform tactical allocation funds during bear markets, recently celebrated its first anniversary with a return of 29.7% net of fees having recorded 10 positive months.
With $105m under management RADAR makes full use of the skills and specialist knowledge available within the Barclays Capital business and draws on the expertise of the Barclays Capital Research and Global Asset Allocation teams.
Commenting, Nathan Bance, Director in UK Investor Solutions, Barclays Capital, said: “After a spectacular first year we are now aiming to increase RADAR’s exposure to a wider range of investors and the Nucleus wrap, with its membership of high quality advisers, gives us an excellent platform to do just that.”
Barry Neilson, Business Development Director at Nucleus, said: “As an independent wrap we believe in true open architecture that benefits advisers by providing the widest possible range of solutions for their clients. With this in mind, we welcome the addition of the Barclays Capital RADAR fund onto the platform.”
