RWC Partners confirms senior appointments
RWC Partners confirms that it has appointed Cressida Williams as its new Chief Financial Officer, and Joydeep Lahiri as Head of Performance, Risk and Attribution.
Williams, who reports directly to Chief Executive Dan Mannix and has also been appointed to RWC’s board, joins the business from PwC where she has worked since 1998. During this time she held positions including Chief Operating Officer for the group’s Insurance and Investment Management Assurance Division and Financial Controller of PwC UK, reporting to the organisation’s Finance Director.
Prior to his appointment as Head of Performance, Risk and Attribution, Lahiri joined RWC Partners at the end of 2015 from Russell Investments where he was responsible for advising fiduciary clients in the UK. Lahiri, who holds a PhD in Finance from ICMA Centre, University of Reading, has worked in the financial services industry since 2009, holding positions at a number of other organisations including the BT Pension Scheme.
Following the appointment of both Williams and Lahiri, Gemma Bainbridge and Bob Ritchie have left the business.
Dan Mannix, CEO of RWC Partners, says: “We have seen both significant growth in our organisation and rapid change in our industry over the last three years.
“It is critical to our clients that we invest in our people and systems to advance the services we provide to them. We see increasing opportunity to add operational alpha on top of the quality of the investment services we provide as clients look to reduce costs and pass on added value to their clients.
“Gemma and Bob have been a really important part of the team and we wish them all the best for the future. In Cressida and Joydeep we have recruited people who will really propel the organisation forwards, ensuring that we have an organisation that is both stable and progressive, characteristics we believe are critical to the long-term success of asset managers.”
