Salvus signals further commitment to digital workplace strategy as it hires Russell Whitmore from NOW:Pensions
Salvus Master Trust, a leading pensions provider offering workplace pensions to all employers in the UK, has appointed Russell Whitmore to the newly created position of Head of Strategic Delivery. This signals a renewed commitment to the delivery of a streamlined digital workplace offering for employers, advisers, payroll professionals and not least of all the pension members.
Whitmore joins from Now: Pensions where he was Head of Technical Support, where he built a risk focused department that encompassed four operational teams and the complaint function. He has held several senior positions, including Xafinity, Mercer, and Bridge Trustees where he acquired a comprehensive knowledge of the UK’s pension landscape.
Reporting to Graham Peacock, Salvus Master Trust’s Managing Director, Whitmore will design and develop support services for advisers, payroll professionals and employers as Salvus migrates to a fully digital workplace proposition.
Commenting on the appointment, Peacock, says:
“2017 is a pivotal year for auto-enrolment with the remainder of small and medium business set to stage this year. It is also a crucial time for Salvus as we complete the transition into a fully digital workplace provider. Russell’s technical expertise, as well as his experience and status in the industry will be crucial as Salvus looks to consolidate its offering and create a streamlined service for those employers providing a workplace pension the first time.”
Commenting, Russell Whitmore, says:
“Salvus has a well-deserved reputation in the industry for both its high-quality pension solutions as well as an unrivalled commitment to rigorous standards of governance. I am very pleased to be joining and look forward to working with Graham and the Salvus team to drive the business forward.”
