Thesis Asset Management brings together private client professionals to launch ‘The Experts Network’
Thesis Asset Management has brought a number of private client professionals together to create ‘The Experts Network’, a collaboration designed to help educate one another on the services available across different disciplines.
The group, which has 25 member firms and approximately 60 professionals, hosted its inaugural networking event, on Wednesday 14th November. Held at the Ivy Castle View in Guildford, the event featured talks on managing charitable funds on behalf of clients and how to resolve disputes over wills.
Those involved in The Experts Network include lawyers, bankers, insurance brokers, lifestyle companies and independent financial advisers, all active in the North Downs and London area.
The Experts Network will meet on a quarterly basis with topics and locations being determined by its membership. These will be designed to help improve best practice allowing for a more holistic, high quality service that will ultimately benefit clients of member firms.
Thesis hopes to branch The Experts Network out to its other office locations in Brighton, Lymington and Chichester in the near future.
Jem Turrell, Guildford Office Director and Investment Manager, Thesis Asset Management, said: “The numbers of private client family offices is growing globally as private wealth continues to increase. Creating a network of likeminded professionals who can collectively provide the benefits of a family office to meet this growing demand is hugely satisfying. It is also really encouraging for the future of financial services in the UK, that the differing disciplines want to actively work with each other for the benefit of their clients.
The Experts Network is all about like-mindedness, a group of professionals who recognise the benefits that collaboration can bring to both themselves and their customers. Financial services traditionally operates in silos, focusing instead on their individual areas. With this new group we want to break these barriers down and educate businesses on the expertise available in Guildford and the surrounding area.
We want to improve the accessibility to financial services in each of our office locations, and with the success of The Experts Network in Guildford, we are looking forward to introducing this concept across our South England operations.”
