WisdomTree Appoints State Street Veteran Alexis Marinof as Head of European Distribution

WisdomTree, an exchange-traded fund (“ETF”) and exchange-traded product (“ETP”) sponsor, is pleased to announce the appointment of Alexis Marinof as Head of European Distribution for WisdomTree. Alexis brings over 18 years’ experience to WisdomTree and has a proven track record in building multi-product pan-European ETF businesses.
Alexis joins WisdomTree from State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) where he held a number of senior roles, most recently as EMEA Head of SPDR ETFs and Managing Director in London. At SSGA, he also held the roles of EMEA Distribution Chief Operating Officer in London, Head of Middle East and Africa in Dubai and Head of the Nordic Region in Brussels.
Alexis will lead WisdomTree’s European distribution efforts and is supported by dedicated relationship and distribution personnel covering Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, the Nordics, Switzerland and the UK.
Alexis will report to David Abner, Head of Europe, and replaces Morgan Lee who is returning to WisdomTree’s headquarters in the United States on the Institutional Distribution team as Regional Director for the West Coast.
